FRIDAY AUGUST 2ND 12PM @ WATERGATE

Exceptionally equal to the beginning of the month, and finally again on a Friday, the August-Yes loads with a cornucopia of the best contemporary dance music to dream and sweating. Not least thanks to THE OAKWOODS, who will now unfold their Fusion and Pannebar tested mega live sound again at Yes.

Although they help parties in the best clubs in Berlin at the height of only two years, the enthusiasm for the sequel of Schulz & Sons now already knows no bounds. The extraordinary thing about the project to frontman Koljah Stottmeister is that THE OAKWOODS is not an ordinary laptop techno live act. By the presence of two percussionists playing on most diverse, partly borrowed the junkyard percussion instruments live-on-stage, next to the ears also the eyes of the audience will be stimulated. Thus, the Oakwoods build the amazingly exciting sounds of escalator step, steel springs, UFO parts, cans, coconut or plates in their shows a virtuoso, but also conventional percussion instruments are used. Then there is the third person who creates the musical picture frame by means of electronic sound production. A real live experience, framed in one of MITJA PRINZ 'typical hypnosis sets that you should not miss.

Meanwhile, one floor down no less than Dame Music boss BLOODY MARY pleases ears and eyes at the same time. There is also tension on the Yes debut of FOOLIK, who is notorious for its perfectly choreographed afterhours sets at Sisyphos. Finally again with Watergate rocket ROBIN DRIMALSKI and sound researcher SLURM - known by Tanzmichmal and from the other "Gate" at the Jannowitzbruecke. Rejoice with us for another 12-hour descent to remember .. ;)

SAT JULY 20TH

SHLOMI ABER returns. After his last apocalyptic appearance, beginning of the year, Israel's probably strongest musical weapon now turns back in MITJA PRINCE 'Yes Arena! In DJ case he has brought back a lot of sun guaranteed directly from the Hebrew Beach metropolitan Tel Aviv. With vibrant Techfunk and "Freak Side", he debuted in 2007 as a much respected producer on Josh Winks Ovum label, but he had his international breakthrough in 2009 with Guy Gerber and "Sea of Sand" (Cocoon). Since then he has produced two albums, inter alia "Chicago Days, Detroit Nights" (Ovum) and operates with great success since 2006 his own label Be As One, published on acts such as Gel Abril or the Swede Samuel L. Session and he himself recently with "Foolish Games" feat. Möggli shone.

"On the water" for the second time we may also FABIAN REICHELT & RAYCOUX JR. welcome, who now clear up with her mercilessly rousing live DJ sets as Faray also on Katermukke. Together with EMPRO, NILS TWACHTMANN and JULI N. MORE from the Sisyphos, the course are set for a major July departure until well into the next morning, you should again not be better to let escape ... ;)

In June, chat with one of the most colorful and influential Detroit legends in MITJA PRINZ' Yes Arena: STACEY PULLEN! With its hits and anthems from the 90s, he had a significant influence on the sounds that we hear and love today. And the "old Ami" still knows exactly how to rock a crowd! The three Detroit techno pioneers - Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson - took him once under their wing, built him up and made him the most important innovator in the second wave of Detroit DJs who overran the world from the northern U.S. ago . Quickly succeeded Stacey, his career and on his own initiative to further stimulate and advance to become one of the most sought after DJs in the global techno circus. Characteristic are its elements enriched atmospheric techno sets, he also repeatedly linked with house and garage. After releases on Cadenza and Fragile he currently focuses mainly on his own label, Black Flag! One floor down there with DANNY FABER & SESE also a legendary DJ team as exciting for the first time the honor "on the water". Along with the fabulous DANIEL DREIER and Feingefühl-Boys - USED and COSS - we look forward to an unforgettable June Yes! Better with you!

For the May issue we must once again look forward to a special music event: The British JULIO BASHMORE eligible for its mega rare gigs in Germany to visit our Yes Arena. Despite his young age, the man from Bristol has been one of the world's most sought-after house producers, he already began to produce his own mixes but at age 14, before he brought out in 2009 his first EP on Claude VonStrokes Dirty Bird label. Among other much note Releases on Future Boogie or PMR Records, his international breakthrough with "Au Seve", the first disk on his own Broadwalk Records. The initial spark for his passion was incidentally House Daft Punk's "Da Funk", an influence that is still pumping out to listen as it is engaging in all his tracks. His unique mix of Deep House, Detroit Techno and UK Garage also inspired the BBC radio legend Pete Tong, for his show, he was allowed to contribute an "Essential Mix" to equate on the island a knighthood - as well the invitation to Yes. "On the water" shall meet with the Homies DIRTY DOERING, JAKE THE RAPPER, DAVID DORADand finally back THE CHEAPERS, once again the cream of the Berlin underground sounds! May has arrived, the trees (on the terrace) beat out .. :)

James Zabiela RETURNS. After the "Technical Wizard" in 2008 for the first time brought to Berlin, had to pass only 5 long years before the DJ superstar once again returns in MITJA PRINZ’ Yes Arena. Zabielas skills are legendary, nobody mixes as fast and accurate and switches through all the media. To understand his moves can, slow motion shots are necessary. The more we are pleased that the always occupied "space" Resident his sensational, globally, a unique mix of house, hip hop and techno - at now - including his typical samples from sci-fi films and '80s pop a la Depeche Mode and Brian Eno presented to us in "intimate" Led atmosphere. We expect no more and no less than another renaissance!

Meanwhile, at the “Waterfloor”: Just recently just returned from Asia - Yes Homie MARCUS MEINHARDT rolls up the field for the first time along with the "Queen of Understatement" PILOCKA KRACH (live). On top we can look forward to a very exciting Mixed doubles: The truly magical ELLIVER meets her partner-in-crime and "Tonkind" JAN MIR! Hypnotic and euphoric power until late afternoon is probably carved in stone again .. ;)
